FALL ONCE THE DOMUS AUREA!

The news yesterday after the collapse of the Golden House has generated considerable interest among the general public and among the "insiders".
Leaving people more competent than those who write evaluations on the case I just make some considerations. It seems frankly amazing to see what happens and hear what was said yesterday by those who spoke about the case. I find agghiacchiante feel Assessor Croppi declare that it was a hall used as a warehouse. The point is not the value of the collapsed but consider how little we do for the protection and preservation of the archaeological heritage of Rome. Sounds pretty strange that after 5 years from the closing of the Domus Aurea arrive for work on consolidation of the collapses. I think as always, the bureaucracy is ruining what should be one of the reasons to be proud of this nation. GREECE: DISCOVER GREAT WALL OF 23,000 YEARS AGO!

Athens, March 24 - (Adnkronos) - A wall of 23,000 years ago, the most 'of the ancient world,' was discovered in northern Greece: According to archaeologists, was built during the Paleolithic to defend themselves from the intense cold. The remains of the stone wall were found at the entrance of the cave Teopetra in Resorts' Meteora, known for Orthodox monasteries carved into the rock, Kalambaka, 350 kilometers from Athens.

''This is more of the wall 'oldest ever found in Gracia and at the same time in the world and in all probability' was built by men of the Paleolithic to the cold,''said archaeologist Nina Kiparis, a specialist in paleontology , director of the excavation at a press conference. The wall is 24 to 30 meters with an entrance shaped oval.

During the excavations and research in the cave Teopetra, the team headed by Kiparis has also found many seeds of maize and beans. Based on this discovery, archaeologists have speculated that the Greeks over 20,000 years ago, the local man already knew 'the land. If the hypothesis will be 'confirmed, it will be' a revolutionary discovery, 'cause so far it was believed that agriculture was born in the Middle East around 10/7.000 years ago.
